This spring term, Mckellar was guided by her advisor at Oregon State University to do dual enrollment. She is attending classes and gaining practical experience through an internship. This hands-on opportunity equips her with an understanding of marketing in the business world. As she steps into her third year of college, she seeks smaller classes where connections can be made, which she believes can be found at LBCC. Mckellar’s academic focus is marketing, and she is dedicated to learning strategies to understand consumer behavior to propel business expansion. Her interest in this field stems from her grandfather's business, which lacks a strong marketing presence. Beyond learning, Mckellar has many hobbies but her favorite are taking care of reptiles and birds as well as crocheting. She has a crested gecko named Mocha, a leopard gecko named Leo, and a bearded dragon named Rocko. Additionally, she discovered a love for crocheting, a skill she learned from her boyfriend’s grandmoth
